This Creamy Italian-Style Baked Spaghetti is rich, cheesy, and full of flavor, making it a crowd-pleaser for family dinners or gatherings.

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic; cook until the meat is browned.
  4. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for about 10 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Layer half of the spaghetti in a baking dish. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over it, then half of the meat sauce. Repeat the layers and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • This dish can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to bake.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
