Deliciously fudgy brownies made with dates and almonds, offering a healthy twist to a classic dessert.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams Medjool dates, pitted
  • 100 grams almonds
  • 50 grams cocoa powder
  • 100 grams almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 100 grams dark chocolate, melted
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, blend the pitted dates and almonds until finely chopped.
  3. Add the cocoa powder, almond flour, vanilla extract, and sea salt to the food processor and blend until combined.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted dark chocolate and the eggs, then mix until smooth.
  5. Fold the chocolate mixture into the dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

  • Store brownies in an airtight container for up to one week.
