- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, powdered sugar, and salt.
- Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then add to the flour mixture.
- Press the dough into tartlet pans and bake for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk brown sugar, maple syrup, eggs, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Pour the filling into the tartlet shells and sprinkle with walnuts if desired.
- Bake for an additional 20-25 minutes or until set.
- Allow to cool before serving.
