- 1 tube crescent roll dough
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and shredded cheese to the skillet. Stir until combined.
- Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll up, starting from the wide end to the point, and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm, optionally garnished with parsley.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add diced jalapeños to the filling.
- Can be made ahead and frozen before baking.
