- 1 pound chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup flour
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices lettuce
- 4 slices tomato
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In a bowl, mix flour with paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
- Assemble the sandwiches with chicken, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on buns.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more cayenne pepper.
- Let the chicken rest after frying for crispy texture.
